A tale of two musicians...

When a guitarist leaves a power trio,
what happens to the band? For drummer Steve Holloway and
bassist/vocalist Kyle Turner, the answer came quite by chance.
STOP THAT NOISE! Having put too much of themselves into
the band to let it go, these two New York musicians began to
rehearse on their own in a dank basement in Hoboken. STOP
THAT NOISE! As the landlord pounds his floor at the incredible
vibrations, a drummer discovers the potential to become an integral
part of the melodic end of the music. A bassist discovers he can play
the low notes and the guitar parts. At the same time. And his
voice will provide all the remaining high frequency the music needs.
Ever. STOP THAT NOISE! Despite disbelief from all quarters of
the music community, the band records a six song CD, utilizing some of
the best engineering and mastering talents in the city. STOP THAT
NOISE! Representing an evolution of historic rock rhythm sections
(Flea/Smith, Sting/Copeland, Paul-Jones/Bonham), this hard-driving duo
has severed the vestigial fingers of a guitarist to create a sound
completely new, yet accessible and universal. STOP THAT NOISE!
The voices shout in an endless cacophony, from the pounding landlord
to the guardians of conventional music. But they can't... STOP THAT
 NOISE!
