Excite was one of the first World Wide Web search engine companies.
They
own both the Excite and WebCrawler brands.
Ever since we started monitoring spiders, Excite has been
known as the most aggressive.
Though they are slow to add
new pages, they appear to have one of the most
thorough databases.
