Plunder (The Damage of the Damn Age)

Not long ago, I awoke from a dream in the middle of the night... with the word plunder in me head.

And, it made me wonder....

As we pillage The Cradle, are we diggin' the grave... of this civilization? Do you know what I mean... like how we watched The Cradle of Civilization looted during the war with Iraq.

After recording the following song, I noticed this quote from the Book Of Daniel:

Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered.

Plunder (MP3)

lyrics

Chorus:
Such a plunder,
Is it any wonder?
Given the gift of age,
We just pillage.
Are we savage,
The way we ravage.

Depravation,
Leading to the starvation,
Of my soul.

Chorus

Degradation,
Leading to the elimination,
Of us all..

Chorus

Destruction!
The cradle of civilization,
Did fall.

Chorus

Why all the plundering?
Why all the blundering?

soliloquy:
You've heard of the Stone Age?
And, maybe the Bronze Age?
Well, welcome to the Damn Age...
And, the damage of the Damn Age.
